Terms & conditions of use
- Participation is only open to residents of the United Kingdom who are over 18 years of age.
- The Prize per Squegg competition will be calculated as follows:
All payments received, per Squegg competition, will be added together and the agreed charitable donation will be subtracted from this total. Squeggs.com will then subtract an administration fee before sending the remaining prize to the Winner.
- Notification will be made after the close of the competition and the Winner will be contacted by the email address they used to join up to squeggs. The winner’s name will also be posted on the corresponding squegg webpage.
- All prizes are non-transferable and connot be exchanged.
- Entry to the competition is via this website and by posting the desired squegg ref number and payment to:

- Entrants are required to follow the instructions on the website at www.squeggs.com.
- Entry to the competition closes on the date of close chosen by the person who has set up the squegg or when all the squegg segments have been purchased in any individual squegg created, whichever happens first. Any entries taken after this time will be void. The first correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize stated.
In the event that the winner does not, or is unable to comply with and meet these Terms and Conditions, Squeggs.com shall be entitled at its discretion to disqualify the winner, without any further liability to the winner. In this case all moneys will be donated to the nominated charity.
- Squeggs.com is not responsible for network or communication failures of any kind or for entries that are incomplete or incomprehensible or not received. Such entries will be void.
- Squeggs.com reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.
- Squeggs.com (or any third party nominated by Squeggs.com) may use the winner’s name and image and their comments relating to the prize and experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or without any fee being paid. However, save as set out in this clause, information and data (""personal data"") which is provided by you as an entrant when you enter will be held and used by Squeggs.com and their suppliers and contractors in order to administer the competition. Entrants’ personal data may also be passed to relevant regulatory bodies, the police or other authorities in the course of the investigation of any complaints or suspected unlawful activity. Aggregate, non personal data may also be used for the purpose of undertaking market research or in facilitating reviews, developments and improvements to relevant services.
- Entries that are incorrect or incomplete will be void. No refund will be made for the cost of any entry. Squeggs.com may refuse to pay prize money, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these Terms and Conditions.
- In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the operation of any part of the competition the decision of Squeggs.com shall be final. Squeggs.com can make no guarantee of internet access to the competition.
- These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all entries irrespective of the route of entry.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit Squeggs.com’s liability for death or personal injury caused by their staff or supplier’s negligence or for fraud.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England unless you as an entrant are a Scottish resident in which case you may choose the law of your residence and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales again unless you are a Scottish resident in which case you may choose the courts of your residence in Scotland.
General
- By accessing this site (the 'Site') you agree to the following terms. By proceeding beyond this page or continuing to use the Site you agree and acknowledge that you do so upon these terms. These conditions of use form an agreement between you and Squeggs.com. We may alter these conditions of use from time to time in our absolute discretion without prior notice to you.
- We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to terminate any account, registration or any other relationship you may have with us without notice in the event of a breach of these conditions of use.
- These conditions of use are governed by English law and any disputes arising out of your use of the Site will be determined in the English courts only.
Intellectual Property Rights
- The Site is owned and operated by Squeggs.com and the information and materials appearing on the Site are made available to you solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- All intellectual property rights in, to and in respect of the content, information, data and materials appearing on the Site (including without limitation any copyright in text, illustrations and photographs and trade marks, trade names and logos) are and remain the property either Squeggs.com or of other third parties who have licensed such intellectual property to Squeggs.com.
- We grant to individual users of the Site a non-exclusive personal licence to view and copy details from the Site for their personal and non-commercial use only. We may revoke this licence at any time without prior notice.
- Except as provided in condition 6, none of the information or materials appearing on the Site may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed in any form or by any means without our prior written permission. Requests to republish the whole of or any extracts from any of the information or materials appearing on the Site should be sent to us info@squeggs.com.
- You agree that you will not arrange for any third party website to be connected to any part of the Site by way of hyperlink or otherwise without our prior written consent.
- Modification of any of the information or materials appearing on the Site or use of any of the same for any purpose other than as set out in these conditions of use (including without limitation on any other website or computer network) is prohibited.
- You may not use the Site to publish, post, distribute or disseminate any material which is or may be defamatory, obscene, indecent, menacing, or racially motivated, or any other unlawful material or information.
Disclaimer Of Liability
- The information and materials appearing on the Site are provided for your information purposes only and are not intended to address your particular requirements. You should not rely upon any information or ideas contained on the Site when making any decision or taking any action (or when refraining from doing so).
